nset Technology, a leading developer of government wireless solutions, today offered the free use of its expanded METAmessage Advanced Compliance Tool (ACT) to President Obama for use on the Presidential BlackBerry. ACT enables the White House to avoid Data Leak by ensuring the President communicates only with authorized recipients and archiving all of his BlackBerry messages.
“We’re delighted to hear that President Obama will remain plugged in through his BlackBerry,” said Rafi Kaminer, Onset Technology CEO. “In the spirit of his inauguration—and to help the Administration avoid making a costly digital misstep—we’re offering the President free use of our METAmessage ACT wireless software to make sure all of his messages go only to approved contacts and are archived to comply with the Presidential Records Act and other regulations.”
METAmessage ACT for the first time would allow the White House to scan, block and archive wireless all of President Obama’s BlackBerry communications. METAmessage ACT can also tag and archive messages for recovery through the White House’s existing eDiscovery system.
