PlantCML and Onset Technology to Provide Complete Solution for Business Continuity and Mission Critical Communication

Franklin, Tenn. and Waltham, Mass., September 19, 2010 – PlantCML^®, an EADS North America company, and Onset Technology, Inc., two of the leading providers of business continuity and mission critical communication solutions, announced today the expansion of their partnership agreement to deliver higher availability of emergency communication, notification and access to information.

Leveraging proven technologies utilized by hundreds of government agencies and companies worldwide, this enhanced partnership delivers a comprehensive, one-stop solution for uninterrupted communication. The combination of PlantCML’s advanced emergency notification capabilities and Onset’s Priority Blackberry^® messaging allows clients to further expand and ensure their communication reach.

Through the partnership, users of PlantCML’s The Communicator!^® NXT^™ emergency notification solution (version 4.2 or higher) will be able to get information into the hands of people even when email, voice and text messages may fail. This redundant, high-availability communication is possible because Blackberry pin-to-pin messages sent through Onset’s solution are not dependent on carrier infrastructure, like SMS, allowing communication to bypass all conventional means and enabling direct, device to device notification.
