Avi Koren
Chief Executive Officer

As chief executive officer of Onset, Avi Koren applies his strong sales and management knowledge and background to accomplish Onset’s goal to be a leading provider of "beyond email" wireless handheld solutions. Mr. Koren has extensive experience in the US and Asia-Pacific region building market presence and generating record business results in highly competitive markets.

Over his seventeen-year career, Mr. Koren, with a strong background in electronics research and development, gained considerable experience in senior-level management at Orbotech, a world leader in inspection and imaging solutions for the flat-panel display, printed circuit board and assembled boards industries. His executive positions at Orbotech, a company of over 1,500 employees in over 30 offices worldwide, included responsibilities for customer support sales and marketing. In his last position at Orbotech, he served as president of the company’s subsidiary.

Mr. Koren served in a research and development department of the Israeli Ministry of Defense (IMOD). He holds a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics from Ben Gurion University and an MBA degree from Boston University.

Rafi Kaminer
Corporate Vice President, Sales and Marketing

Mr. Kaminer is responsible for leading worldwide sales and marketing as well as managing all US operations.

Before joining Onset, Mr. Kaminer was General Manager, Orbotech Korea, where he doubled sales revenues in four consecutive years. Prior to his work in Korea, Mr. Kaminer managed a number of Orbotech offices in the US and Europe. Orbotech is a world leader in inspection and imaging solutions for the flat-panel display, printed circuit board and assembled boards industries.

He has completed Senior Executive Training at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and holds a B.A. in Electronics from Tel Aviv University.

Hagai Vered
Vice President, Research and Development

Mr. Vered joined Onset after its acquisition of CMR Communications. Prior to joining Onset, he was the founder and chief technology officer of CMR. Mr. Vered has over 15 years of technical experience in hardware and software, mainly in the area of computerized fax, voice and telex systems.
