Proxos is both the developer of mobile message security software and the name of its flagship application - a unique software solution for mobile messaging compliance and security for financial institutions, investment companies, government and public service agencies, healthcare facilities, professional services companies, and other organizations with large smartphone deployments.
Proxos the company is an offshoot of Onset Technology, the software solutions provider and developer of METAmessage for emergency communications capabilities, productivity enhancements, and secure access management for networks using wireless devices such as BlackBerry® and other smartphones. Since its introduction in 1997, METAmessage has been widely adopted by Fortune 1000 companies, government agencies, and a range of large service organizations.

Management Team
Rafi
Kaminer / CEO
Mr. Kaminer joined Onset
Technology in July 2007. In this role, he provides the overall strategic
guidance for Onset Technology. With 25 years of experience in high tech,
management and operations, Mr. Kaminer brings a wealth of U.S. and
international experience to the company. Prior to joining Onset Technology, Mr.
Kaminer held several key management positions at Orbotech Ltd. Most recent one
was General Manager, Orbotech Korea. Prior to his work in Korea, Mr. Kaminer
managed a number of Orbotech offices in the US and Europe. Orbotech is a world
leader in inspection and imaging solutions for the flat-panel display, printed
circuit board and assembled boards industries. Before joining Orbotech, Mr.
Kaminer served as an R&D engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr.
Kaminer graduated from the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business
Senior Executive Program.
Ran
Ish-Shalom / VP, Business Development
Mr. Ish-Shalom joined Onset
Technology in April 2009 to lead strategic marketing activities and
partnerships. Prior to joining Onset, Mr. Ish-Shalom served in several key
roles at Avaya Communications, most recently as a senior manager leading a
cross functional and multi-national team made up of services, manufacturing,
marketing, regional sales, and architecture to deliver 10s $M portfolio. Prior
to that Mr. Ish-Shalom helped to develop, negotiate and manage multi-million
dollar strategic relationships that included joint development,
channel/go-to-market terms and strategy and global service offers. As a fellow
member of the CTO office, Mr. Ish-Shalom represented Avaya's interest in
several standard organizations and managed the architecture group for the
Concord Technology Center. Mr. Ish-Shalom holds an MBA from Northeastern
University and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University.
Rotem Eldar / CTO
Mr. Eldar is responsible for
product management, strategic roadmap planning, future technologies and
intellectual property. Mr. Eldar brings years of experience in product
management and market research from prior positions in Rhythmia Medical, a
venture backed company, and Precede Technologies, an entrepreneurship and
investment firm. Prior to these positions, Mr. Eldar served for over 9 years in
the Elite Technological Unit of the Intelligence Corps of the Israel Defense Forces,
where he managed complex and innovative technological projects developed under
extreme constraints. Mr. Eldar was awarded the prestigious Israel Security
Award from the president of the State of Israel for his achievements.
Mr. Eldar is a graduate of Talpiot, the IDF's Elite Military Academy designed to train technological leaders for the defense sector in Israel. He holds a B.Sc., magna cum laude, in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is currently an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
Yuval
Pemper / VP Research and Development, GM Israel Operations
Mr. Pemper joined Onset
Technology in May 2009. He is responsible for the research, development and
quality assurance of Onset Technology's range of products and is the General Manager
of Onset's Israeli operations. Prior to joining Onset Technology, Mr. Pemper
served as Vice President Research and Development of Radware Ltd., where he was
responsible for the research, development and quality assurance of Radware's
range of products, hardware platforms, and software infrastructure. Radware
(Nasdaq: RDWR) develops, manufactures and markets application delivery and
network security solutions that provide end-to-end availability, performance
and security of mission critical networked applications. Prior to his tenure at
Radware, Mr. Pemper held research and development leadership roles for a number
of technology companies in the communications and networking industries, most
notably Comverse Network Systems. Mr. Pemper is a graduate of the prestigious
Talpiot program. He holds a B.Sc., summa cum laude, Physics and Mathematics
from the Hebrew University and a M.Sc., summa cum laude, Electrical Engineering
from Tel Aviv University.
Patrick
Corr / Vice President, Sales
Mr. Corr is responsible for
leading Onset's worldwide sales efforts with offices in NY, MA, DC and CA. He
spent 7 years in telecommunications sales and management beginning with Nextel
Communications and T-Mobile where he was a Winner's Circle recipient for sales
management. He was the co-founder and president of CPR Telecommunications in NY
which provided communications solutions to NY businesses. Patrick joined Onset
with sales responsibilities for the Northeast United States. He was named Vice
President of Sales in July of 2008. Patrick earned his Bachelor of Arts from
the State University of New York at Old Westbury
